I went to listen to George Hrab perform at UTA tonight. It was completely not something I would ever have done before, but I find I love his wit and even his music. If you've never listened to the Geologic Podcast then I highly recommend it. NSFW, though damn hilarious at times. God I hope this doesn't mean I'm becoming more social.

Nothing else. I was just tired of seeing the old one. Oh, and I'm not dead. I might even come back and post again.

Whoot, my shortest 'relationship' to date. Less than one week from the time I first met/talked to her until we went on a date, and dumped the very next day. This is a personal best for me. Everyone else who stopped talking to me upon meeting me I'd known for at least a year first. It only took be 5 days to drive her to the point of insanity, it seems. And I didn't even try, that's what really gets me. Imagine how good I could be if I *wanted* to drive women away.

So after posting nudes/semi-nudes my pageviews and comments shot way up for a couple of weeks, then died off again. I still get the occasional fav on them, but everyone who's interested has probably already seen them by this point. It was fun while it lasted.

I enjoyed taking them (and not just because she's hot, though I won't lie about enjoying that part), and I learned a fair amount from my first experience. Things such as 'BRING LIGHTS!' The flash just isn't enough, and she had no lighting to speak of. I also learned that bad shots can be fixed up by converting to sepia.

But now that's over and I seriously doubt I'll be shooting her again... with a camera, at least. And I know nobody else I would feel comfortable asking who lives within 1000 miles of me. Or even outside of that, really. I'm very much the layman when it comes to photography so I don't want to waste a professional's time or my money when I still don't really know what I'm doing. It was very enjoyable, but it seems unlikely I'll be doing it again. Goodbye skyrocketing pageviews. *sigh*

And now I really must write. I finally have Open Office at home (I'm slow), so I've been fiddling around with that a bit.
